It's that time of year again....

Last day of school!  I remember when I was going to grade school I was so excited for the last day of school.  I can't say that my daughter is, she is finishing her first year of school (Junior Kindergarten).  She tells me how much she is going to miss seeing her friends every day, and telling her teachers stories.  I get it, she is social like me!   In the fall she will be going back, with her brother in tow!  Both of them full time ... where has the time gone?  Why have my babies grown up so fast?

So, I put together a little gift and a card to give to each of the teachers and her bus driver.  It is my amazing Jalapeno pepper jelly.  And if you are looking for the recipe please see this post.  I decorated up the lid with some flowers, Prima of course!

The card, I have to admit it was mostly a scraplift, I saw an adorable image somewhere that was handprints in a heart, I put it into a card, so thank you to whoever you are out there that created the original on this card, I am humbled!

Well there you have it folks - quick and easy ... and long over due - I have been neglecting not only my blog but my studio too.  Soon, I hope I will have some more things to share with you.  Until then ... there is only 6 more months until Christmas - have you started your shopping yet???

  1. It looks so good Lorena!!!! Love the card, I think it's perfect for teachers with the little kids hands! It looks like finger painting. Sometimes the best ideas are taken somewhere else and we make it our own! Hugs, Brigitte

  2. Aweeeeeeeesome! ...and so bloody cute. :)
